Yes, all of us are a bit nuts, but, we are doing it for a great cause. We are participating to raise support for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We will be sweating and working hard for the next 16 weeks, but our effort pales in comparison to the fight being fought by the Doctors, Researchers, and Staff at St. Jude. They work tirelessly everyday because children all over the world are fighting a battle for their lives.
St. Jude is fully funded by grants and contributions from the public sector. With an operating budget of over a $1 million dollar/day, one would think that only the most wealthy patient would be seen. Not true, St. Jude never charges a family more than insurance will cover, and if no insurance is available, the family still pays nothing.
That is where you come in. You can sponsor any or all of our team by going to the Support St. Jude link. Our Employer, Mason & Hanger and Parent Company Day & Zimmerman are graciously committed to match donations to help your giving grow. Of course, your donations are tax deductible so join us in supporting this worthy cause.

I think this is a wonderful thing you all are doing. As the proud Mother of one of you and an avid supporter and believer in the St. Jude Hospital and the help they provide to so many, I can think of no better way for you young men to spend your spare time and energy. Please train safely – warm up – stretch when you are done and stay away from MAILBOXES!!!!
My gym , in Frankfort, hosts a “Workout for St’. Jude” each November – the ladies dedicate their workout on a specified day to the kids of St. Jude and they gather donations to send to the Hospital.
Good luck to ALL of you – and remember the main thing is to enter the race and finish it!

We’re glad that you came to the site and gave your input
. It is very motivating to have people come to check out with what we have to say.

I found a good article on running. Some of it I had already heard, but some was new.
